Avatar Me was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. I felt so privileged being invited into living Lisa's life in Brazil for a short while. Despite being from such different backgrounds I felt we had so much in common and I so quickly related to her life and the way it feels to be living as her. I thoroughly recommended it to all my friends and colleagues.

What a great experience! Avatar Me was a simple yet innovative way to tell a story and connect across borders. I really enjoyed the journey through Johannesburg and seeing people and places that somehow felt both familiar and different. Listening to the statistics on the lives of young girls and women as part of the ongoing real-life narrative was arresting and effective. My guide was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I left feeling lively and thoughtful!

Avatar Me is a wonderful project: to put yourself in someone else’s shoes halfway across the world. A project that’s full of humanity. Robin took me on a playful, moving and introspective journey in Malaysia. Thank you Robin and the whole creative team for this brilliant project!

First of all thanks Robin for sharing the event so that I manage to join it. I had never ever thought to have my first avatar experience through zoom and it's a nice one. Nice as it let me experience the life of another person from different country and different culture. Thx Lilian from South Africa for your leading , guiding and of course your clear explanations throughout the journey. You have a great voice yea! Aha🙆🏻‍♀️ world peace, live life to the fullest!

Seeing life through the eyes of Lisa in Brazil was fascinating and a privilege. What a wonderful way to share our human experience and learn more about our humanity. Definitely recommend!

This experience was about being human. And about letting my own fear and joy melt together with a stranger who became close. Thanks to everyone that made it real.

Thank you for a beautiful experience. And thank you Bertwin for your hospitality and guidance. I was brought out of my life and in to another reality and reminded of how big and yet so small this world is. Loved the ordinary and randomness of it all. May your dancecareer soon take wings again!! Best Morten

Enriching experience to meet/be Bertwin. Thank you for sharing a moment of your life with me. Marry your girlfriend, stay safe and always keep dancing.

Thank you, and especially Marcela. I right now actually feel inspired to be more engaged in politics and less dependent of only people to bring me joy. Maybe because I'm still channeling you. I could sense that your/my sense of humour was great but unfortunately a bad wifi connection is a bit of an opponent there. The body to body connection though still got to work a lot of magic! I really felt your drive and i'm still buzzing on that energy. You transcended a bit of you. I cant believe I didnt asked about politics... But I guess I wouldn't do that in the first 45 minutes irl. Bear with me on the Eurovision reference... Bulboaca <3

To connect with the dancing (and melancholic) soul of Bertwin in Mumbai at this time when India is facing such hardship - and seeing his world through his/my eyes - was very special and utterly meaningful. Stay safe!!!

I was Bertwin for 45 minutes and it was joyful, emotional and very intense. I felt a real connection with a human being who used to be a stranger. Thank you!

I think it is an extremely powerful way of using the digital format in combination with theatrical tools or exactly this feeling of being close.
